Unknown family date and locality
Could be family names Scott, Mcmahon, Millar, or Bell

This photo, and a few similar ones, have no identifying marks.
The quality of exposure surprises me as i think it is early 20th century.
If anyone can pick up clues as to the location, country etc, i would be pleased.

Just from the looks - I'd say early 20th cen. and somehow tied with the British Empire. Either English or Australian. Setting looks slightly tropical or coastal. Photo may be in a park or courtyard area.
Judging from the dress, house in the background, and flowers in the urn I would say the time is about 1900 in the southern U.S. Since many ancestors came into ports in Virginia, etc. Our Bell ancestors could have originated in the south. Let me know if you find out who this is. My grandmother was Nellie Bell Norris, 1st marriage to Everette Leslie Norris of Mentone, Indiana. This picture has a striking resemblance to my mother and aunt. S. Pickett

Am researching Norris (George Mclean) and Lowman (Dora F.) ancestors who lived in northern Indiana. Have researched the Lowmans back to England, But the well dried up with my great-grandfather. I know someone knows who was George's parents.

I am searching German, Prussian, and Czech sides of my lines. I can translate German and Czech documents from typed or handwritten. I also have full access search within Ancestry.com for records lookups, and I dabble in photo digital restorations. Surnames related to my search are Cerny, Hruska, Vrana, Engle, Menning, Lentz, Troutman, Shoun, Wills, Fuller, Wendell.
