US Navy Boot Camp Division 022 (October 10, 2007-December 7, 2007)
My boot camp division group photo (Division 022). I was situated on the 3rd row from the front, 3rd person from the left. To my right is Michael Tsui - "Soo" (a fellow Los Angeles native and shipboard electrician), and to my left is James "J.C." Chaney (from Victoria, Texas, near Houston, a former Yeoman).

J.C. and I remain close friends to this day. He's since moved up the ranks as a Chief Yeoman (YNC) and got commissioned through the Navy's Limited Duty Officer (LDO) program as an Administrative Officer. He's now a Lieutenant (O-3E for a prior enlisted "Mustang") situated in Virginia Beach, Virginia with his family and is posted with a Construction ("Seabee") Battalion in Norfolk.
Date & Place: at Great Lakes Navy RTC Great Lakes - 2650 Green Bay Rd, in North Chicago, Lake County, Illinois 60088, United States
