These were my paternal ggrandparents. Ward came from Corydon, Indiana to take up farming in Triplett, Mo. when he was 18 yrs. of age. He married Gay Zetta Lester there and they had 3 daughters, Hazel, Delma, and Mabel, my grandmother. Ward was blind from his middle years on. He and Gay Zetta moved to Kansas City, Mo. in 1940. Gay Zetta passed away in 1947 and Hazel and Delma lived with him the remainder of his life. He lived to be 92.
