William Conrad Wunderlich
I have an old studio photograph of Willie WUNDERLICH which was taken at the W. D. Fay Studio in Joliet, IL. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880's or 1890's with Willie likely in his teens or 20's at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Willie and his family:

William “Willie” Conrad WUNDERLICH was b. 14 Apr 1872 in Joliet, IL to parents Ernst or Ernest WUNDERLICH (1848-1923) and Margarete or Margretha or Margaret GEIPEL (1851-1922) who were married in August 1869 in Joliet, IL. Willie was one of 13 children born to this couple including Emma H.; William “Willie” Conrad; Wilhelmina “Minnie” L.; Albert; Onenney; Ernst Henry; Amelia “Millie” M.; Arthur George; Edward John; Minerva Laura or Lora I.; Walter Charles; Alfred Frederick; and Milton Joseph WUNDERLICH, all born between1870 and 1894.

Willie married Minnie A. FAUST (1875-1967) on 6 May 1896 in Will County, IL and they had two sons including Ernest William WUNDERLICH (1905-1991) and William “Billie” Conrad WUNDERLICH (1921-2013). Willie died 10 or 18 Aug 1944 in Joliet, IL and is buried in the Elmhurst Cemetery in Joliet, IL.

I would like to get this photograph to a family member and would appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of this family or know someone who might be.

Thanks,
Shelley
