William Franklin Jenkins
I have an old studio photograph of William JENKINS Jr. which was taken in 1893. The photograph was taken at the Berner Studio in Charleston, IL when William was just an infant. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding William and his family:

William “Bill” Franklin JENKINS was b. 4 Apr 1892 in Charleston, IL to parents William Francis JENKINS (1864-1905) and Martha “Mattie” Ellen JOHNSTON (1864-1923) who were married 21 May 1890 in Charleston, IL. William was one of four children born to this couple including William Franklin; Viola “Ola” E.; Hubert or Hugert Johnston; and Minnie JENKINS, all born between 1892 and 1897.

William married Charlotte KILE (1895-1953) about 1916 in Charleston, IL and they had two daughters including Judith Kile JENKINS (1920-1995) and Martha Louise JENKINS (1923-2001). He later married Mary Dorothea “Dolly” GARDINER (1891-1975) on 14 May 1955 in Los Angeles, CA. He died Feb 1965 in Arizona and is buried in the Mound Cemetery in Charleston, IL.

I’d like to get the photograph to his family and would appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of this family or know someone who might be.

Thanks,
Shelley
