William H Yessick Jr. is the son of William H Yessick Sr and Rosa B Yessick. He had an older sister Francis Yessick and they grew up living in Birmingham, Jefferson, Alabama. He attended Auburn University (Auburn, Alabama, USA) and was part of the class of 1949. He studied Industrial Design and was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. William married Annette Parker on Sunday December 15, 1950 at the Capitol Heights Baptist Church in Birmingham with the Rev. Robert Edge officiating. See Annette Parker weds William Yessick, Jr., in capital church. The couple went on to have 3 daughters, Pat Bear, Laurie Yessick, and Lanie Kelzer, Later in life, he was a Private in the Air Corps of the United States Military. He enlisted on April 17, 1945, at Cp Shelby Mississippi and was a member of the Reserve and was exclusive of Regular Army Reserve and Officers of the Officers Reserve Corps on active duty under the Thomason Act.
