William James Sloan & Family
William James Sloan was born in New Brunswick, Canada in 1866. He came to the US after the death of his father, John Alexander Sloan. He worked as a logger in Michigan, met and married Isabel Kelly, daughter of Pat Kelly of Oconto, WI. They had a farm in northern Wisconsin, where they raised their two children, William John and Adelia Ann.
