William Thomas Holbrook, 74 of Goddard Road, Wallingford, Kentucky passed away Friday, January 29, 2021 in St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead after a brief illness. He was born in Niles, Ohio on February 19, 1946 to the late Atlie and Mildred Thompson Holbrook.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings; Dallas Holbrook, Eddie Holbrook, Betty Stuart and Susie Holbrook.

Mr. Holbrook was a former employee of Van Huffel Tube Company in Warren, Ohio and was a United States Army Veteran. He was an avid gun collector and enjoyed country music and spending time with his family. He was also a motorcycle and car enthusiast and especially enjoyed his coffee time.

He is survived by his ten children; William (Teresa) Holbrook, Jr. of Niles, Ohio, Michael Holbrook of Youngstown, Ohio, Christopher Holbrook of Williamsfield, Ohio , Shawn (Katrina) Holbrook of Indiana, Pennsylvania, Diane Frum of Niles, Ohio, Michelle Holbrook of Hubbard, Ohio, Melissa (William) Gregory of Hubbard, Ohio, Nicole (Victor) Yancar of Hubbard, Ohio, Misty (Mark) Baumbach of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania and Christina Milliner of Warren, Ohio. Two brothers; David Holbrook of Girard, Ohio and Sherman Holbrook of Howland, Ohio. Thirty six grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Memorial services with full military honors to follow will be conducted 1:00 pm Friday, February 19, 2021 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Pastor Arnold Howell officiating. Burial will be Memorial Day weekend in the Thompson-Dailey Cemetery.

There is no visitation.

The Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead is caring for all arrangements for Mr. William Thomas Holbrook.

I'm a Christian, and I'm a daughter of Allan B. Holbrook, now in heaven. My married name is Debby Stevens.
My parents, Allan and Marie, were devout Christians, and had 10 children. They were both school teachers, but Mom quit teaching at public school after marriage. But both Mom and Dad home-schooled us all - starting when I was in 1st grade - that's when they came to the decision to home-school us. Dad earned an income through being an English teacher here in Traverse City, for man years. Dad started some Bible meetings that took place in the homes of friends of ours and in our own. He was the main teacher in it, and it was in a discoursing style - he would talk about spiritual things with the fathers of the families, each time, and all the children of the families would sit and listen to it all.
