his photo of a girl posting a letter to Santa reminds us of the magic of writing a letter, putting it in an envelope, addressing it to "Santa, North Pole" or "Santa Claus", adding a stamp, and walking to the mailbox. And for the next 60 - 70 years, that's the way it was done

Ron Snow nope u still can address a letter 2 Santa Claus 124 Candy Cane Lane, North Pole. And your letter carrier I'll pick it up . And someone answers the kids letters 🎅 and no postage necessary

Look at the street lamp and the small, old style mail box - that picture has to be at least 75 or 80 years ago, probably much more!
