A young lady, perhaps with the surname of Dodson, basking in the sun. This was found in my paternal grandmother's case of photos of friends and family. I have no idea who she is; however, she appears in many other pictures and on the backs of a few photos is the name Dodson, and my grandmother's family does have some Dodson's there. My grandmother's maiden name is Fowler, her father died young in a factory accident. From the backs of some photos also were developed in Texas, although my grandparents lived in Kansas City and Independence, Missouri.
My Grandfathers brother was John O'Roark and he married an Ella Dodson and there was an old woman we called Nell Fowler who came to family reunions on that side of the family many years ago but I no longer recall how she was related. I think she was Grandpa's relation by marriage but not on Grandma's side.
Ella and John eldest child was a daughter, Daisy,(b 1914) and the rest were boys. Peck (Ray), Huey, Tommy, Freeman and and another boy whose name I dont recall. These last two were killed in a sledding accident at 45th and Garfeild in the 1930's.
This might be your Dodson but only because of the mysterious Nell. Good Luck!

My paternal grandmother Bonnie Fowler-Roberts died in my house a few years before I was born and she left a huge case filled with love letters from her husband when he was at war in WWII and old pictures she had collected of family and friends. I have no idea who the people are and I would like to find out. She moved from Independence, Missouri to Huntington Beach, CA in the 1960s. The pictures, in my opinion, date from the 1940s to the 1970s, but I could be wrong. I'd really like to know who they are. I love the collection of faces.
