Zdzislaw K Cherwinski- University of Richmond

Zdzislaw Kazimiercz Cherwinski is the child of Irene H Majewska (1899-1974) and Karol "Charles" Cherwinski (born 1896). He was born in East Orange, New Jersey on November 22, 1924 and had siblings Carl (born 1920) and Zbegniew Theodore "Ted" (1932-1998). He married Ruth Mildred Church on January 2, 1946 in New York City. They had multiple children together including sons Brian (1956-2020) Lance Michael (1958-2000), and Wayne and daughters Sharon and Suzanne. Zdzislaw earned a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Richmond and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in Europe. He worked a sales representative for Gilman Paper Corp. in Pearl River, N.Y, and retired in 1990. He was also a member of the Lambertville American Legion Post in Lambertville.
