During his military service, Vincent served in the US Army for a little over a year, until August 11, 1943, when he was honorably discharged from the military.
Vincent went on to attend and earn his undergraduate and law degrees from Northeastern University. He worked as a lawyer with the Lynn Firm.
He married Mary McDevitt and had two daughters Chritine and Mary as well as a son, Paul V Curcio.
Mildred Pauline Curcio was married to William A McCormack (1916-1991). The couple had 5 sons together and lived in Medford, Middlesex, Massachusetts.
