Frances L. Billings Duvall
I've recovered an old photograph album from the late 1800's including faculty and students from Oberlin College which includes a photograph of Frances BILLINGS DUVALL. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880's or 1890's with Frances likely in her 20's at the time it was taken. Most of the photographs, like this one was taken by the Pfeifer Studio from Columbus, OH who probably came to take all the photographs at the Oberlin campus. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Frances and her family:

For alot of years I heard about James Duvall who married Elizabeth Baker Young and how he ran away sometime between 1850 and 1860 with another woman.It was said that he left her and their children and was never seen or heard from again.Does anybody know anything about this? He's not the same James that Married Tamsy Barker in North Carolina,even though thats the James that i've always heard that it was.Shelea Mclaughlin
