McRae, who was born at Bannockburn, near Geelong, was a member of the Victorian Railways for the greater part of his life and came to reside at St. Albans over 33 years ago. He is survived by his widow, two sons, Leslie of St. Albans and Cecil of Essendon , and one daughter Mrs. W. Leake of Rockbank.
