THERE IS THE BENJAMAN DINE RAIKE I HAVE SOME OF THE BOATS SOME OUT OF THE WATERWAY JOURNEL AND WAYS PACKETBOATS BOOK THE RAIKE FAMILY GOES BACK TO BAYERN,GERMANY 1695 MY GREATGRANDMOTHER MARY JANE FETTERS SHE WAS A PENNS.DUTCH GIRL WHO M. WILLIAM PETON RAKE. WILLIAM PLAYED CARDS AND GAMBLED ON HIS PACKETBOAT. HE GOT RICH FERTIL LAND FROM PLAYING CARDS. LATER HE WAS MURDED AND THROWN OVER BOARD HIS BOAT.ANOTHER RAIKE WAS ACEDENTLY SHOT WHILE HUNTING AND DIED AND WILLIAMS RAIKE WAS KILLED AND LFT AT THE RAILROAD BRIDGE DEAD. HIS WHIFE GOLIE RAIKE WAS A SUSPECT BUT LATER UN PROVEN. THEY WERE GOING THROUGH A DEVORICE. i have a uncle who served on the DD COLBVERSER THE NAME MAY NOT SPELLED CORRECT DURING WW2 AND A COUSIN THAT WAS ON THE AIRCRAFT CARRIER THE FORESTAL .HAD A COUSIN THAT HAD A BOAT NAMED AFTER HIM THE JEFF RAIKE HE LIVED IN MASON,CO.,WEST,VA. DIED OF A BRAIN TUMOR AND WAS A WELDER FOR A BOAT COMPANY.
