The little boy is known, Charles Woodard, son of James Everett Woodard and Fannie Fielder.
Della Clast is not known or how she is related to Charles. Fannie's parents were William Fielder and Angelina Honts. Her husband is James Everett Woodard. Nothing is known of him. Photo was taken about 1910, as Charles was born May 1892, and he looks about 5 or 6, maybe younger. They lived near Washington, KS but family believes they may have lived in/near Topeka, KS as well. Anyone knowing anything is incouraged to e-mail with the information.

John woodard parents were of Irish Decent. They came from the Brunswick Georgia, and settled in the Poulan, GA. Sylvester Georgia..Worth County area. He died in 1947, but married a second time. I learned that he has a relative name Leonard Woodard of Norman, Oklahoma. He met my uncle George Woodard at a GM factory in OK. He told Uncle George that we were related and that he had lots of family information he wanted to share. He gave uncle his home phone, and asked uncle to call him in a few days. Uncle George did so, and Leonard stated his name on the voice mail. So uncle left a message with his contact info. Leonard never returned the call. In fact , a week later uncle called the number again, and it was no longer in service. I too looked up Leonard and located his,address, sent a letter with my background, and requested information on John, along with a self address stamped envelope. But I never heard anything. I have to assume that Leonard called Sylvester GA, and spoke to Tommy Bozeman, and Bozeman told him to keep it a secret. Bozeman took care of Grandpa Woodard. I think they may feel were after money. After all, John Woodard death certificate states he is Colored. The family disowned him when he married a colored wonan.. No information on his wife, our Great grand. Hopefully we can fill in the gap for history sake. Update 2022: johns wife was Mary Lewis-Woodard , her parents were Wiley Lewis and Martha Washington-Lewis. MARY is listed on the Native American Registry.

Ruby Pauline Woodard was born September 30th 1919 to Sam and Lillie(O'dell) Woodard. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic School in Vanita, Oklahoma. Where she graduated at the age of 15. She Married Jack Henry at age of 16. She and Jack began working for the Griffin Family of Quapaw Oklahoma, but was dismissed, and then began working for The Whitebird family also of Quapaw Oklahoma.
Pauline learned to do native american beadwork from her father, and was very involved in stomp dances and powwow dances. She and the rest of her siblings would all pile into their dads' old Model A truck and head out for the dances. Sometimes they would dance by the car headlights. She became a renound native american artisan. Pauline would complete a buckskin dress(without beadwork) in 24 hours. She had made over 1000 buckskin dresses. She made a brand new buckskin for her daughter Cynthia D Whitebird every year. People came to learn to make moccasins, leggings, dance regalia, fans, ribbon dresses and skirts for stompdance. She made dolls sets with full garb, pillow shams with matching quilts, shawls, cradleboards, buckskin clothing for the Mountain Man Rondevou community, she was always willing to help teach her craft.
She also was a midwife at age 13, appointed by the county Doctor. She later became a LPN, and worked at Bradshaw hospital , Baxter Memorial, The old St. JOHNS in Joplin, MO.
She was an accomplished Bowling Champion, bowling was a passion of hers. She could bowl a perfect game. She was a member of the "700 club" at the Miami Bowling Alley, in Miami, Oklahoma. Her Team "Whitebird Acre" won the spot to represent USA in the Olympics in Cuba.
Being a great cook, She began cooking Quapaw tribal dishes, and became a feast cook for the tribal dinners. She was most famous for her Chicken and dumplings, wich were always requested from her to be added to the menu at all the tribal dinners. She conducted a huge feast every year on the 4th of July, and held it at her camp located at the Quapaw Tribal Ceremonial Grounds, during the annual Quapaw Tribal Powwow. The feast was in honor of "The Ones That Have GoneOn" . Pauline also held lavish holiday feasts for family and friends.

I am looking for anyone that has info on some of the family we have dill, in there woodward, not sure what else the only one i can think of right now is a martin woodard way back my great grandfather was edwin woodard or woodward my grand father was llewlyn edwin woodard.
