Emma J. Rowan was born 10/23/1858 and died 1/5/1895. She married James Stafford 11/4/1877 in Morgan County, Indiana. Emma and James are buried in the Centerton Cemetery in Morgan County, Indiana and share the same gravemarker. On the gravemarker it shows her name as Ritta. Emma was the mother of Elsie Viola, Leonidas, Benjamin Harrison, Arlie Odell, and Verle Stafford. James Stafford is the son of Benjamin and Susan Wall Stafford.
