Lifelong interest in history, especially as it relates to my family tree. Always looking for more than just names and dates, and am especially interested in old photographs.

JACOB, WOODARD, SCOTT, BOSSENBERGER, MAC DONALD (MCDONALD), LAUTERWASSER, SCHECHTERLE, WILSON, PHILLIPS, GOODMAN, LOMAS, DUFF, THOMPSON, NEUBAUER, CRADDOCK, CRABBE (Dutch/German), THOMPSON and many more.
Other names not in my direct line, but of interest to me are:
LACEY, SPURR, MCBERTY, WILLARD, UTIGER, MCBRIEN and so on.
Most of my family lived in:
MICHIGAN, ONTARIO, NEW YORK STATE, OHIO, ENGLAND, SCOTLAND and GERMANY.

James Wallace Scott, of Lockport, Niagara Co., NY. Born in Aberdeen Scotland in 1830 to William and Anne Scott, came to Ontario as a child, then ran away to Lockport, NY at age 17. Married Lucinda Phillips. His son Burt Phillips Scott was the only of his children to have offspring.

Louisa (Schechterle) Lauterwasser, wife of William Lauterwasser. She was born in Wurttemburg, Germany. She and William raised their family near Luddington, Mason Co., MI. Robert (Dahn) Lauterwasser, was raised as her son, and was born in 1907.
