Grandma Phelps in her casket
This photo is designated on the folder "Grandma Phelps in her casket. There are no dates nor any other information given. There is a picture , in an oval frame, more than likely of "Grandma Phelps" at an earlier age, hanging above the casket which was customary in earlier days. This picture was found in Oklahoma and loaned to me to place on this site in hopes that a family member will recognize either the picture or name. This picture probably dates to about the 1920's.

This picture was found in Oklahoma of a possible "Wake" of "Grandma Phelps".

Is this the Chapman Family?
Is this the Chapman Family?
This photo was found with other family photos. Could this be the Chapman Family of Massachusetes? This picture of "Rose/Rosina" looks so much like her 10/15 yrs. later. She is the young lady dressed in white and with glasses. She was born 1895/1896. I have a few others to compare this with.Maybe these are her parents/grandparents? And possibly a brother?

Hopefully someone will recognize this picture , many others that were given to me from a very generous young lady at the Tulsa flea market, are of the Taylor family. She purchased these at an estate sale in Providence, R.I.
Rose Chapman married Herbert Taylor.

On the back of the photo is written: Maxwell MOWRY, his dad Percy MOWRY, Russell MOWRY, our dad, Herbert TAYLOR, Percy's wife, Aunt Maude, Uncle Jim LIDSTONE and his wife Helen. Jim and Maude are Rose (Rosina) Taylor's Stepmother's brother and sister.

This photo came from Rhode Island. From an estate sale in Providence. There are about 20/25 photos of this family. A very generous young lady from the Tulsa, OK. flea market gave these to me for just this reason; to find their family and home. I have done some research on this family, very interesting. I found "Baby Everill "Christened in Sept. 1919, and she was named for her Grandmother: Everill TAYLOR from England. Parents are Herbert and Rose TAYLOR. Who are her descendents? She has a sister, Arline TAYLOR (WIGGINS).

Cottle Family
Great Family photo, 13 people in this group. Look at the old photograph in the upper right hand corner. Surely it is an ancestor! The only name on this photo is "COTTLE". This was found at the Tulsa, OK. flea market. Lovely 8X10 black and white photo. Hope they are yours!
Taylor Headstone
Taylor Headstone
The headstone reads:
Robert Taylor 1864-1928
His Wife
Everill Pickup 1865-19--
Grace Taylor 1892-1922 (daughter)
Herbert Taylor 1890-19--
His Wife
Rosina Chapman 1895-19--
I think the young child in the photo is Everill Taylor, daughter of Herbert and Rosina. This is a great photo to have because I was able to read, with a magnifying glass, all of the names and dates. This info is invaluable for your geneological research. I do not know the name of the Cemetary, but it is in Providence, Rhode Island. The elder Taylors were born in England.

There are many pictures in this collection, enough for a person to go a long way in their research. A very generous young lady, who had just been on Holiday in Rhode Island, purchased these at an estate sale while there and allowed me to place them here for the family to claim.I will place many of the family photos on this site for you to compare.
