Family, friend, or fan, this family history biography is for you to remember Hattie Roberts-Crowther.
Monroe Crowther Sr. of Columbia, Marion County, MS was born on March 7, 1927 in Columbia to Artis Crowther and Hattie Roberts-Crowther. He had siblings Otha William Crowther Sr., Loranza Crowther, and Draymond Crowther. Monroe was baptized on March 1, 1940 at Sweet Valley Baptist Chruch in Columbia. He married Mary Stepney - Crowther, and had children Jerry Crowther Sr., Monroe Crowther Jr., Raymond Crowther, Janice Marie Crowther, and Tolecia Amber Crowther-Dillon. Monroe Crowther died at age 75 years old on January 9, 2003 at Marion County Hospita - The Mertles Nursing Facility in Columbia, and was buried on June 15, 2003 at Crowther Cemetery in Columbia.
