World War II Couple
World War II Couple
Who is this WW II couple? I found this photo in my deceased mother's photo book. I am sure the picture was taken in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. At one time she told me their names and where it was taken, but at that time I was too young to care. Now I would like to return the photo to relatives of this couple.
Mary E. Miller
Mary E. Miller
Mary Ellen (Miller) Johnston, age about 60. Studio photo not named on matting.
Probably taken in Mills Co., IA in the early 1900's. She could be a sister of the Lawrence Miller whos picture is also entered on this site.

Unknown
Unknown
This lady's name, date of photo and location taken is not known. Speculation is that she is the wife of Lawrence Miller (see Miller photos). However, proof of who she is is neeed before she can be linked to any family.
She may be in her 30's here and the photo is definitely 1800 something.

Gentleman

Post card photo found in my mother's photo book. Jan 4th, Winnipeg, and a note written on back. No year given.

Who is he and the year is the mystery. Part of what he wrote on back of photo - I am on my way, supposed to sail for China Jan 8th. I will write (Sam) when I get over there. My address from now on - F. Rennie Steinmanhill Lyvie Aberdeenshire Scotland.
The way he wrote everything together is confusing when it comes to separating name from address. The word 'Lyvie' could be 'Fyvie'.

Young English girls. They look like sisters, surname not known. Their surname might be Pickles.

Photo found in my late mothers photo book. No names on back, just a pencil note 'To Lucy.' Lucy being my mother so I have assumed that the girls are some of her 'Pickles' cousins.
