Wythel Elbert

Kelly Price returned to Orange to assist his father as he grew older. Upon his return, he sought out his childhood sweetheart, Wythel. They were married seven months after reconnecting. They married at the Hilton Americas Hotel, in downtown Houston. 1800 people were in attendance and the event took place during the Forty Plus Model scholarship luncheon. They were married on Sunday, April 17th, 2016. Kelly had taken over the family business after retiring and was the owner of Price Mortuary. He followed in his father's footsteps and was a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. Kelly attended undergraduate school at Morehouse College in Atlanta. He had three children--Sherri, David and Jaye. He and Wythel blended their families to include her two children, Winston and Welth Elbert. He use to say "they were one big happy family". To include her mother and his father.

Winston is brilliant and has many friends.

I have always known her to be very creative, unusual, a real outside of the box thinker, good at everything it seemed. She use to play the piano for my brother to sing and play his instruments. She was so pretty and was a beauty queen, winning many titles and pageants. She was the first black girl to represent SFA and the year she won, they changed the title. Good hearted and kind; humble to say life was so good for her. She can sell anything and is good at raising money. Her favorite color is red. I was in love with her when we were young. She always knew everything.
