Ralph Waldo Griffith was born on April 4, 1920. He was married to Yvonne Delores (Prescott) Griffith, and died at age 69 years old on June 24, 1989. TRENTON -- Yvonne Delores Griffith of Trenton died Wednesday at her home after a long illness. She was 67.
Born in Bassinger, Mrs. Griffith moved to Trenton from Lake Wales in 1991. She was a retired dental assistant.
Mrs. Griffith was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2420 Ladies Auxiliary in Lake Wales and Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Lake Wales.
She was preceded in death by her husband, R.W. "Cotton" Griffith.
Survivors include two daughters, Beverly G. Langford of Trenton and Janice P. Hightower of Lake Wales; a son, William Russell Griffith of Lake Wales; six grandchildren; a great-granddaughter and a step-great-granddaughter.
