Sherry Windom - Allcorn

Lou Ella or Lula or Lue Townsend (Echols)born 8-8-1863 in Texas died 10-22-1956. Her mother is Ellen or Ellin or Ella Windham born 11-1843 in Oktibbeha,MS, her father was (First name?)Townsend. Would like information on Townsend. He may have died in Civil War, because Lou was the only child born to Ella Windham.

I have a picture and I can't remember where I got it. There is an old man sitting in a chair and a young woman standing holding a baby. She is wearing a white blouse and dark colored long skirt. The picture is taken from the side view of the porch. It was titled "Windham porch, Coryell County, Hot Springs, TX". I believe they meant "Hurst Springs" instead of "Hot Springs". If anyone knows who this picture belongs to, or can identify the people in it,I'd like to know. It looks like it was taken late 1800's.

Found at flea market in Ft. Worth, TX. Two blond haired children. Both look to be under 6 years old.

My mother found this picture at a flea market in Fort Worth, Texas and thought it looked similar to her brothers and sisters, but could not be for sure. There was no information on the photo. Also it says POST CARD on the back and it was once in an album because it has black paper in the 4 corners of picture on back where it had stuck to black paper in and album of some sort. Does anyone know who these children are?

Benjamin Love's(B. 8-7-1899,D. 2-12-1957) father is Benjamin Eli,B. 5-6-1861 in New Orleans, LA) and Viola's (B. 7-31-1905, Norman Oklahoma D. 12-17-1989 in nursing home in Alpine, TX)mother is Ora Willie Echols (Self),(B. March or May-8-1888 China Springs, TX,D. 5-11-1978 Ft.Worth, TX)Ora's husband was David Henry Self, B. 10-17-1881, D. 2-2-1952. Ora's mother is Lou Ellen Windham or Lula E.Windham,B.11-1863, Lula's mother is Ella(?)Windham, b. 11-1843. This may be another line possibly of Windoms. Lula was married to Leonard or Lynn Echols,B.6-1855,TX. Resource: 1900 US Census. I would like more information on Ella and her maiden name and her husbands first or given name if anyone has that.
