John Dickerman of Jerseyville, Jersey County, Illinois was born on October 31, 1886, and died at age 86 years old in December 1972.

Kenneth was by birth named, Fred Eugene Covert. Eventually the family would change their last name to Carter.....and he would take on the stage name of Kenneth Eugene Frederick. He would use Kenneth Eugene Frederick as his name for a majority of his life. He was a stage actor....but was quite an embellisher. His obituary contains several things, including names of relatives, that just aren't true. He had one brother, Joel, as well as two other siblings (one brother and one sister) that didn't survive infancy. He also had one half sister, Mary Miller Carter.
