Bernard G. Craig, 79, of Susquehanna Blvd., West Hazleton, died at his residence Saturday evening. Born in Wilkes-Barre, he had resided in Larksville prior to locating to West Hazleton for the past 35 years. He was a son of the late George and Wanda (Janiszewski) Crake. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the United States Navy in the Pacific Theater of operations. He served aboard the USS Naville and was awarded the Pacific Theatre Ribbon, American Theatre Ribbon and the Victory Medal. He was discharged as a Yeoman, 3rd Class. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, West Hazleton, and served as vice president of the Men of St. Francis Society. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed at the LBL Appliance Center, Weis Markets, and was a former manager of the Holiday Inn. Surviving are his wife, the former Dolores E. Yuscavage, to whom he had been married for 53 years; daughter Sharon and husband Gene Kachurak, Palm Harbor, FL; grandson Chris and granddaughter Amanda Kachurak, also of Palm Harbor, FL; sister, Marie Kelly, Wilkes-Barre; brother, George Craig, Dunellen, NJ; several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the John J. Pusti Funeral Home, 480 W. Broad St., Hazleton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi R.C. Church, West Hazleton at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be in St. Mary’s R.C. Cemetery, Plymouth. Friends may call Tuesday evening, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. A prayer service will be conducted. His wife Sylvia Craig passed away just years earlier. He had a life mate after her named Margaret. He has a daughter named Renee and a son named George. He lived in New Jersey all of his life. His his twin sister is Murray and his older brother is Bernard both have passed. He was so tall and such a smart and very well educated man. The kindness he gave and shared is beyond measurable. He was working on and with computers before we even knew what computers were. He served his country and he served it proud.. If he played football in school.

She has a twin brother George And an older brother Bernard. Is Marie had 5 children 4 girls in one boy. Is she married Charles Kelly Sr. Is she passed away on her mother's ( Wanda) birthday in 2016. She was buried at her mother's feet at Saint Mary's maternity cemetery in Wyoming. Her father is also buried next to them. Her daughter Karen who passed away in March of 2021 is also buried there as well. Is her twin brother George passed away in June of 2021. Is Bernard passed away several years earlier. His her daughters were Karen, Charlene, Lynn, Diane and a son Charles junior. She was born and raised in Larksville and attended Larksville high where she graduated. Wanda Violet was the wife of George Crake . They had a set of twins George & Marie Is born December 17, 1935. Is and a son Bernard who was the 1st born. Is all 3 of their children went with the spelling of Craig not Crake like George & Wanda. They lived all of their life in Larksville Pa 18704. George, her husband passed away in September of 1965. Wanda Never remarried. Wanda and George are buried next to each other at Saint Marys of maternity in Wyoming, PA. You may also find their daughter Marie buried at her mother's feet. Their daughter Marie passed away on her mother's birthday ( Wanda) in 2016. George passed away Is in June of 2021.
