Mr. William Arthur Seymour
Mr. William Arthur Seymour
William was born in St. John's, Newfoundland in circa. 1863. He is pictured here in his North Staffordshire Regiment uniform in 1915.

At some unknown point in time, he moved/ returned to the UK to live in West Bromwich. He died in Leeds Infirmary in 1916 as a result of war wounds.

Very little is known about his early life and there is no birth record for him either in the UK or Canada (although Newfoundland, at the time of William's birth) was part of the British Empire.

2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!
