This photo is glued to a cardboard stock. On the front it is written : Cha. Ambrook's Residence, Boulder Colorado.
On the back it reads: Caroline, this is a poor picture but I send it. I built the brick house at the left 1873 the stone house 1892. I live now in a small one story fram (frame or farm??) to the left of the brick not shown in this picture. Sold the stone house years ago. I am standing at front gate. C. Ambrook

Due to quality of the copy, Pleasant and Cassie Shropshire cannot be seen sitting in the doorway. John M. Shropshire was the second husband of Sarah Angeline Frizzell Tucker, widow of Lorenzo Dow Tucker.
