Patsy Kausek 1985 or 1986
This is the only picture I have of Aunt Patsy. She was married at the time but I do not remember her married name. She is pictured with her John Kausek’s wife and children. Cindy Kausek is holding Sarah Kausek. From left to right is Chris Kausek, David Kausek and Anne Kausek (now Smith). Our family would love to be in touch with any lost relatives.

My mom's side of the family is Swedish (and still lives in Sweden) and she instilled in me lots of Swedish heritage and traditions which has made me who I am today. My dad's side of the family is German and Irish and the most likely the side of the family I get all my freckles from. Family is so important, and welcome everyone to discover more about them, their history, and share about their loved ones who make up the history of who we are!

I want to build a place where my son can meet his great-grandparents. My grandmother Marian Joyce (Benning) Kroetch always wanted to meet her great-grandchildren, but she died just a handful of years before my son's birth.
So while she didn't have the opportunity to meet him, at least he will be able to know her.

My father's side is full blood Sicilian and my mother's side is a combination of Welsh, Scottish, German and a few other European cultures. One of my more colorful (ahem black sheep) family members came over on the Mayflower. He was among the first to be hanged in the New World for a criminal offense he made while onboard the ship.

I only got to meet aunt Patsy once. She was my dad’s sister. I remember she was a very kind lady and gave me a box kite, which I always wanted. Unfortunately I do not know her married name. I do remember she had a son who served in the military.
1985 or 1986
This is from the one time I got to meet our grandfather. He is holding my sister, Sarah. Christine is in the middle, on the couch. Her Husband Edward Augustine Kausek is to her left holding granddaughter Sarah Kausek. Cindy Kausek is holding their grandson, Chris Kausek. Anne Kausek (now Smith) and David Kausek are on the floor. Other grandchildren born later are Joel Kausek, Mary Kausek, Judy Kausek and Laura Kausek. All are from their son, John Kausek. This is Eddie and Christine (John’s parent) when we got to visit in Florida.

Laura was the last born. She was just a little girl when we lost John. She is a talented musician and currently a school teacher.
