Uncle Walter Aldridge and Jack
My father's last First cousin passed away this year, Jack Aldridge. That now leaves none of the grandchildren of John Markland Aldred (now Aldridge). I am now working at scanning his photos to preserve them for his descendants. This collection was kept by Jack's Aunt Katie with whom he stayed with briefly when he attended UC Berkeley.

What a wonderful tea we had that afternoon in Robine & Samuel's row house 'Ormiston' in Perth. I loved her immediately. It was so nice to meet this precious couple and to have them as relatives! My photo may be in black & white but her radiance colours my memory to this day.
