Francis C. Waid was born April 22, 1833 in Woodcock Township, Crawford Co., Pa. to Ira Canfield Waid and Elizabeth Morehead. Francis had a twin brother Franklin Waid who died at age 21.
Francis married Eliza C. Masiker in 1854 and had 3 sons: Franklin, Guinnip and Fredrick. Eliza died in 1888 and Francis remarried to Anna Elisa Tyler in 1889. Francis died suddenly on February 20, 1892.

Etta Mae (Waid) Miller: She was my grandmother & was the daughter of Abraham Waid & Eliza Fisk. She was also found INNOCENT of the crime that they say she committed. She was born May 5, 1880 in MI, & died in June 8,1955 in Lansing, MI. Abraham was the son of Andrew Gilbert Waid. The Waid's came from Crawford Co.,PA She married Charles Phillips, Oct. 3, 1898 in Howell, MI. They had a son, Fred Phillips. She married Alvin Miller April 16, 1904 in Howell, MI. There children were Frank, Eliza, & Alvira.
