Tin type photograph of unknown woman. Probably taken around the 1850's. Found with other Kerns and DeShazer family photographs.

This picture was found in with a bunch of other tin type photographs. This was the only photograph that is unidentified. They belonged to my great-great grandmother, Rosetta Kerns DeShazer. We think this could possibly be her mother or grandmother. Rosetta was born in 1865, Maryland and later lived in Virginia and Oklahoma. Her father was George Kerns, we do not know her mother's name. If anyone recognizes this photograph, please email me.
George Kerns

This is my great-great-great grandfather George Kerns. This picture was taken around civil war times. He drowned in the Potomic River sometime around the end of the war. I know nothing of his family. If anyone recognizes this picture or knows anything about this family, please email me.

2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!
