2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!

Albina Marques was born on November 21, 1915, the daughter of Ana and Antonio. She had four sons and one daughter with Luiz Valente. She died on November 16, 2000, in Newark, New Jersey, at the age of 84, and was buried in North Arlington, New Jersey.
Luiz was born on February the 1st 1913. He was born in Brazil. He was orphaned as a young boy in Brazil. He went back to his parent's birth country, Portugal. He was never adopted. He married Albina Marques. They had 5 children together. They moved in between Portugal and America once their kids grew up and had kids themselves. He died in Newark, New Jersey on August, 25th at the age of 82.
