Lauritz was baptized on November 3, 1850 in Copenhagen, København County. Lauritz Larsen died at age 61 years old on November 2, 1895 in Spring City, Sanpete County, Utah United States, and was buried on November 4, 1895 at Spring City Cemetary in Spring City.
