2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!

Florence Margaret Sowell
Florence margeret sowell was born July 15 1932 in kansas. She was the mother of three daughters, Pamella sowell (deceased), Margie Morris (deceased), and Roxanne sowell (iving). She is a grandmother of seven grand children and is known by all as "Nonny". She moved to Los Angeles with her daughters from Kansas to pursue a career in nursing. During the late 80s early 90s, Nonny moved to Lancaster California to be in a safer environment. Nonny was a wonderful cook, a loving person, and a very strong willed and minded woman. She was beautiful inside and out and encouraged hard work and education in all of her kids and grandkids. She was the best story teller and a very jovial woman! For example when supper would be ready us kids would hear her yell in a joyful voice " dinner raw do the chaw !!!" She was a wonderful person and is truly missed, loved, and cherished.
