2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!
There are transcriptions of letters from Pemberton Hunter to Isaac Edward Dyason available from and Hunter is discussed at length by Isaac in his diaries which are currently housed in the Manuscripts collection of the State Library of Victoria. I am in the slow and laborious process of transcribing these documents, The 1858 diary indicates that Pemberton Hunter had a sister at Castlemaine and a brother in law with the surname Holmes. The sister is said to be entering into 'confinement' around July 22 1858. You may contact me at [contact link] for updates. I am a relation of Isaac Edward Dyason, not of Pemberton Hunter.
