Alysa's mother was Cherrie Peeler who died in 1998 in St. Louis Missouri, the name of her father wasn't recorded.
At the time of her death, Alysa was out of jail and a crack addict with 2 children. She was living with a minister who she called "Mom" and trying to clean up her life when she went out with a new man one evening. She called home and had the man speak to her "Mom" as well.
