Cox Brothers-Military Service in Pacific-Viet Nam Era
The previous submital at this link for James Reagan Cox has been replaced.

These 2 brothers served in the U.S. Air Force in the Pacific Theatre during the Viet Nam War. Sgt. Cox was in security operations during his entire 4 year term of service. During his 2nd year of service, SSgt Cox was on a short term special assignment to support ‘Operation Arc Light’ during the aerial campaign against North Vietnam. Duties during this assignment consisted largely of playing a supporting role for Air Force intelligence personnel in identifying military targets. For details on this campaign, see :

After returning stateside, SSgt Cox was accepted as a military photo instructor at Lowry AFB in Denver. He spent the last 2 years of his 4-1/2 year assignment teaching newly enlisted airmen at the Air Force Photo School, & he was honorably discharged in 1973.
