Justice Family?
Justice Family?
Maybe the Justice Family? Don't know when or where it was taken. The children look like Justice's but not sure if they are. The small one in his lap looks like my youngest grandson.

Is what time period is it.

Lady in back is Dora Carpenter (never married). In front of her (sitting) are two of her sisters - Laura and Ada Carpenter. Picture was taken probably sometime in the 1920's, in Galax, Virginia at the old home place. These three fine ladies were sisters of my grandmother, Nora Pearl Carpenter Delp.

...my mom looks like this was just one a good day... she was happy, and someone else had the camera... ...after looking thru the many photos I have, I figured out that like myself, my mother must have been the videographer, as there were not as many pictures of her as there were of others... my mother went to meet my dad today... he preceded her in death in 1985, and she has been lonely and wanting to go home now for awhile... I only hope that she is happy and free from the burdens of the pain she suffered in her last months... she was a kind, loving mother who left lots of friends and lots of good memories... she died today, August 15, 2003, and you will be missed mother...

Don't know which grandmother this is. It's a painting of a photo. She is either Mary Jane Milam or Katherine Hodge. Mary would be the daughter of Kate.

Which grandmother is it?
