Amanda Akerhart was the eldest 13 child of the union Mary ( Frith- maiden name ) Robinson from Mississippi and her husband Luther Robinson. She worked numerous jobs, seimtress sewing her own clothes, Bussman Fuse Co., Science Museum in the Saint Louis area and was an active member and usher of the Morning Star Baptist Church since 1954, located on Cool Papa Bell Saint Louis, Mo. Married to Nathaniel Akerhart Jr who serve in the US Navy. Dear friends who live in Pine lawn community knew her as Mrs Mandy, she was well respected. She grew up in the Offallon neighborhoods, Saint Louis Mo. Amanda Akerhart came from Indian -African American descendants. Amanda.Akerhart was put to rest along side by her husband Nathaniel Akerhart Jr at Jefferson Barracks Cementary. She now joins her husband Nathaniel Akerhart, her son Grayling Robinson, her parents and 12 siblings : Odella ( Suga ) Logan, Johnnie Robinson, Ora Mae Elliot, Ernestine ( Tang ) Morton, Albert Robinson, Joe Louis ( Bobo) , Robert Robinson, and William Hampton ( little Willie ) Robinson. She leaves to cherish over 300 nieces and nephews in the Saint Louis area.....loving niece Barbara Robinson

He was married to my aunt Amanda A Akerhart ( 6/16/34- 2/6/18 ). He lived at 6808 Stratford, Pinelawn ( Jennings Mo ). Nathaniel Akerhart worked at General Motors Saint Louis. He also served in the US Navy.
