One of the log outbuildings on Isaac's farm. Isaac was a potter and well as a farmer and operated a successful pottery for most of his lifetime.

After his father's death, Isaac and Maria Turney Sumney moved their family from Westmoreland Co. to Washington Co., Pa. On 1/16/1817 he purchased land along Mingo Creek and built this log home.

This brick oven stood behind the James H. Lusk farmhouse along Mingo Creek. According to the family, Aunt Clara baked the best bread they ever tasted in that oven.
