Elyse Ethel Puleo of Berkeley Township, New Jersey United States was born on November 26, 1946 to Thomas G Corvan. Family, friend, or fan, this family history biography is for you to remember Elyse Ethel Corvan Puleo.
Born in Pottstown, PA. Raised in NJ. Moved to NY. Went to NYU. Met my dad at NY Graphic Society, in NYC, at a Christmas party. They got married and had me. We moved to Riverside, CT and then Cos Cob, CT for 11 years total. I attended Catholic school until my dad retired in 1987. We then moved to VA. My parents opened up a small retail store for a bit over a decade until they closed it in 2008. Shortly thereafter, they moved to NJ to a retirement community. My dad passed away, from dementia, during COVID, at the age of 95, 2 days before my parents 50th wedding anniversary. My mom is currently in a nursing home. She is bedridden with many medical issues.

My grandfather had been previously married before my grandmother. He had a son, Thomas Corvan. My mother never met him as he had been estranged from him. My grandfather married Eveline Corvan, my grandmother. She passed away, quite young, in her 50s, of diabetic shock, in a hospital, while my mother was in Europe on vacation. My mom has no other siblings. I have no other siblings.

My father was from Cefaulu, Italy. My mother was the daughter of Thomas Corvan. My grandfather was older when i knew him, when I was little. I only knew him for a little bit. He walked with a cane from an injury in WW 1. He had been in the Army and injured in the battle of Verdoom (not sure if I spelled that correctly). My grandfather lived with us for a short while when I was a little girl until he went into a nursing home for a bit. I never saw him again. Then, he got a small apartment with his girlfriend in New York from what I was told until his death. He passed away when I was about seven years old.
