Benn's Gas Station
Edgar L. Benn at his gas station. The picture was developed in South Bend, IN on Aug. 23, 1940. Do you recognize the station?

Little Addie
Pretty child in lace dress; wearing locket.
Photo taken by Joshua Smith Studio, 206 N. Clark St., Chicago. Written on back is 'Little Addie, 1 year, July 5th, 1884'. I assume that means she is one year old in 1884. Addie could be short for Adelaide. She may have been the daughter of actors. See next picture of her.

Boy on Tintype
I recently found this tintype in an envelope with other pictures. This young boy could be a McDonald, Cosgrove or Mahoney.
This young boy does not resemble any family members that I have been able to identify, but there was a Mahoney son who died in 1854 in Philadelphia, PA, at the age of 14. However, it is possible that he is a Cosgrove or McDonald (MacDonald) from Brooklyn, NY.
