My mom's side of the family is Swedish (and still lives in Sweden) and she instilled in me lots of Swedish heritage and traditions which has made me who I am today. My dad's side of the family is German and Irish and the most likely the side of the family I get all my freckles from. Family is so important, and welcome everyone to discover more about them, their history, and share about their loved ones who make up the history of who we are!

Jackie Dean Petree was born in 1941 in Syracuse, Morgan County, Missouri United States. He was married to Bev (Petree) Moore in April 1965 in Springfield, Greene County and they later divorced in 1971 in Springfield. He had a child Curtis Wayne Petree. Curtis Wayne Petree was born on August 22nd, 1967 at the Bothwell Hospital in Sedalia, Pettis County, Missouri to parents Beverly Ann Moore Petree (born in 1946) and Jackie Dean Petree (1941 - 2015). Curtis grew up in Springfield, Missouri, USA with his mother who raised him.
He was a student and 1986 graduate of Hillcrest High School in Springfield, Montana.
After high school, he served in the peace time U.S.Marine Corps and earned the rank of Private First Class. Curtis died while on active service on November 30th, 1988 at the age of 21.
