Jacob Finley Jr. and Jacob Finley III
After four girls, a boy was born to my parents on July 15, 1948. He was the light of our lives. I'm still looking for a better closeup of my father's face to post, but he looked very much like his father, Jacob Finley "Jake" Sir(r)att, and Jacob III followed in their pattern.

Jacob Finley Siratt III, b. 15 Jul 1948, d. 19 Jul 1968 in Vietnam. This photo was taken after his MP training in Georgia. He came home for Christmas 1967 and went to Vietnam the first of 1968.
Grandfather 'Jake' Sirratt
Taken before May 1912, the date of his death. My father, Jacob Finley Siratt Jr. was his last child, born six months after Jake's death. My brother was also named Jacob Finley Siratt III, and when he died in Vietnam in 1968, the name died with him.

Grandfather 'Jake' Sirratt

My maternal grandfather taken probably some time in the early to mid 1940s, probably in Hot Springs, definitely in Arkansas.
