This photo was found in the belongings of Wm Lafayette & Mary Jane (Villines)Curnutt. It is inscribed to Aunt Mary. It was probably taken about 1900-1910. The setting is similar to a picture identified as Maudie Villines, so I think it is probably a Villines.

The photo has only the word Curnutt on the back. It is undoubtedly a relative of my great-grandfather, William Lafayette Curnutt. It was found in his effects. She may be the daughter of Joseph Oakes Curnutt. His family later lived in Hollis, Harmon County, OK.

2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!
