My mom's side of the family is Swedish (and still lives in Sweden) and she instilled in me lots of Swedish heritage and traditions which has made me who I am today. My dad's side of the family is German and Irish and the most likely the side of the family I get all my freckles from. Family is so important, and welcome everyone to discover more about them, their history, and share about their loved ones who make up the history of who we are!

Roy "Hank" was the oldest of six children (four boys and two girls). He was the one we all looked up to. He was our babysitter, mentor, big brother, and advisor on all things big and small. He joined the Air Force shortly after graduating in 1967 from Lassen High School, Susanville, California where he retired after serving 20 years. He was an aircraft mechanic and served during the Viet Nam war. His lead had me also joining the Air Force for a 22-year career. He sent money home to mom to help make ends meet. He picked up our mom as a dependent and he and his first wife cared for her for several years. His first marriage ended in divorce, and his second marriage ended with his death. He had no children but adopted several. He and his second wife were foster parents to several children. We all miss you, dear brother.
