She married Cecil Brinker in 1956 in St. Louis, Missouri, and they were married until Cecil's death in 1959 in St. Louis. They had children Byron Brinker and Cecilia Brinker. She also married Johnny Lee Barnes in 1963 in St. Louis and they later divorced in 1959 in East St. Louis, St. Clair County. They had a child Martin Orin Barnes. She and John Willie Ware married in 1974 in East St. Louis, St. Clair County and they later divorced in 1959.
