Susan O Haegle of Pipestone, Pipestone County, MN was born on March 4, 1899, and died at age 88 years old on November 18, 1987.


Joseph Haegle served in the U.S. Army during World War I, reaching the rank of Private First Class (PFC).
He was wounded, in the back, while serving in the trenches in France. For his wounds he was awarded the Purple Heart.
