This photo was taken during a trip to visit family ("Grandma Grotluschen" left) - taken by Lawrence and Virginia Dietz of Ohio. Lawrence being Grandma Grotluschens grandson ( a son of her daughter, Mini Grotluschen- Dietz).
*Other photos had inscription " Ben and family", or "Dorothy Grotluschen". Many photos taken during this road trip from Ohio to Midwest in this set say " Iowa" , and "Welcome to Nebraska", and "Kansas". Most of these Family photos said Iowa.

Joye Dietz was born to Charles Dietz and Mini (Grotluschen) Dietz, and has siblings Lawrence Dietz, Dorothy (Dietz) Biddlestone, Marge (Dietz) Macalear, Elwood Dietz, Arlene Dietz, and Warren Dietz. Family, friend, or fan, this family history biography is for you to remember Joye Dietz.

Lawrence was a farmer. He and his wife Virginia owned and operated aprox 150 acre farm. He butchered and sold kosher chickens, and supplied eggs to local customers and grocers. He and his wife Virginia Dietz (maiden name Walters) lived in Johnston township Ohio in the mid 1900s. They had 2 daughters, Janice and Nancy.
